This will be my first time, so I'm wondering what to expect.

Jeff,

I've been active in AIIM for almost forty years now and there isn't a better return on your investment than this event. It is a meeting where everyone (well almost everyone) checks their ego at the door and enters the room to share their knowledge of service bureau operations, learn new techniques from their peers and even their competitors, and establish life-long friendships that will stand the test of time and the peaks and valleys you will encounter on your journey.

I've always said that if I was limited to one AIIM event a year, it would be the DMSPEF. I look forward to it for many reasons, but the main reason is the friendships of the great people I have met at this event.

There is simply no place else in this business where you can learn so much in three days and put that knowledge to work for you and your company before you even leave Austin. You will be on the phone with your team back home saying; "did you know .......?" or "do you know who I met here .....?"

Please keep in mind, this is not an expense; this is an investment in yourself that will be one of the fastest ROI's you ever experienced in your business career.

This is not a commercial for AIIM just because I happen to be the Chair of the Board of Directors, it is the same message I have been delivering for years to anyone that would listen. Stay home at your own peril.

Jeff, I have to say that Bob hit the nail on the head. This forum is the one constant in my life professionally.

The friendships, the contacts, the "go to people" I have discovered and developed through my years of attending, and I think I'm up to eight years now, are invaluable and far exceed the registration fee. This isn't a gathering where you only learn within the sessions (valuable as they definitely are), it's the between session times and social gatherings that you can really thrive and grow as a professional in this industry.

Everyone in attendance gathers to learn from each other, share experiences with fellow professionals and you will ALWAYS go home (or as Bob says even before you return home) with snippets or whole chunks of ideas ready to be implemented straight away.

I believe this forum is especially important right now with the economy as it stands today. The opportunity to share success and failures with men and women who know what you are up against and dealing with cannot be quantified. Those same people will provide insight and feedback that you may not have seen for the trees. They may even put a smile back on your face!

See you in Austin, be prepared to enjoy yourself, it's guaranteed!

And a third "I Concur" It's a great event. Quality information every year. I've yet to find an event that has a similar take away.

Hi Jeff. I'm biased, but I can personally guarantee you'll find the Forum completely worthwhile. It's one of the best things we do.
