Are you receiving AIIM's new national magazine, Infonomics? (Free subsciptions, hard copy or digital, available at infonomicsmag.com/subscribe.)
If so the cover story will (hopefully) get your attention -- it's about John D. Halmaka, MD, MS, CIO of Harvard Med School -- and Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital -- at the same time! with 500 employees! It's a neat interview, and think you, doing what you do, and being an alumna, might find partcularly compelling.
Why am I writing? I'm just now jumping into information zen, using it as a forum to both promote the magazine and find contributors. In addition to bylined articles from the very very short to the very long, we have two first-person, reader-contributed forums which are open to competition in each issue: "Revelations" -- see page 12 of the sep/oct issue, and "15 minutes", page 11 of same.
Also looking for letters to the editor and other feedback.
If you have any notions, send me a note!
Kind regards,
Ben Herring,
editor-in-chief,
INFONOMICS magazine
